Meislsteinalm mountain hut
From Goldegg-Weng, this hike takes you up to the highest point at 1,300 metres above sea level to the final destination – Böndlesee Lake. It is also possible to take the bus back to Goldegg. The Meiselsteinalm is very hospitable and welcomes you with local products and a unique panoramic view over the sunny plateau.

Dreibuchen circular route
The ideal route to enjoy the wonderful Goldegg countryside to the full. The circular route starts directly from the hotel and takes you through “Seewald“ to the three giant trees. After the natural monument, you climb up the Buchenkopf and follow the signs through the farms, Unterhof and Oberhof, back to Goldegg.

Buchberg circular tour
On this lovely route, you can explore Goldegg directly from Hotel am Schloss. You should not pass by Restaurant Reiter without trying their cakes and treats. Through the Buchberg forest, you reach the south side of the Buchberg where you can enjoy a fantastic view of the Gasteiner valley.

The Goldegg mountain path
The departure point for this all-weather hike is from the “Schlossbergplatz,“ located directly next to the hotel. Enjoy the sunny meadows and the splendid window and balcony flower displays. From the “hanging gardens“ it continues over the deserted Buchberg ski slopes back to the wonderful centre of Goldegg.

Mitterstein circular route
Combine hiking and swimming fun together: a jump in the Böndlesee is the refreshing end to a wonderful summer hike. The picturesque Hirtenkapelle (chapel) and the Meislsteinalm mountain hut are popular for many locals and visitors.

Paarseen Lakes
This challenging hike is a unique experience for nature fans. The scenic prominent alpine plateau and pastures are very inviting to while away the time. The whole area of this magical mountain world with its salamanders, amphibians, frogs and fish, which inhabit the Paarseen Lakes is protected.
